Students will continue to design, create, invent, build, re-engineer, problem solve and maximize prototypes individually and in teams in guidance of our United States Super STEM Competition(USSSC). Engineering Design uses a Project Based Learning method and is aligned to the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Framework and the International Technology Education and Engineering Association's Standards for Technological Literacy(STEL). More information can be found on the USSSC link above.

Specifically for Engineering Design, the entire month of September and into October is dedicated to safety training, policies and procedures. "Anything is Possible!"...These words are echoed in room 122 and will continue to be understood by all of us. But the internal drive does not stop this week or next, or even into the cold winter months to follow. Oh no......even then, we all are just getting started.

Hello. My name is Billy. Engineering Design students can learn alot from me. Just look at myself. I have cuts, stitches, an eye patch, and that's just my face. I will be your official safety awareness character. Mr. Ramos says to always be careful, but a few tools got away from me. The accidents happened so fast. I should have listened the first time and worked safely. I am still trying to pass that safety exam all of you have taken in October. One day I will be careful and do things the safe way. I have one eye left and "I need to know where I am going because I might end up someplace else". I wonder where I have seen that phrase before? It sounds so familiar! So my best advice for all of you for not giving blood this year is to work safely as Mr. Ramos has trained you and life will only get better if you try.Only practice will make perfect, so what are you waiting for....the last time I saw SUCCESS came before WORK was in the dictionary.
